    Hi Rick

    Thanks for reply and sharing this info. but still i am getting error with UDF
    my formula =xlDATEDIF(C1,A1,"YM") & " Months "&xlDATEDIF(C1,A1,"MD") & " Days"
    results 1 Months 3 Days
