    I never had any problem importing text files into Excel with VBA.
    Maybe it is a problem with newer Excel version? I have not much experience with newer Office versions. Microsoft seem to fuck up more and more with newer versions. I would never use any Excel much above 2010 for Excel or VBA, unless I was payed to do so.
    Perhaps with PQ it is better, but most people with any sense say that Microsoft fucks everything up more and more for Excel and VBA above Office 2010.

    I just made it like this:

    I took your file, data-v9i8Rbfh1ul6_1diL56pb.csv , opened it with text editor



    , then I deleted everything and copied all text from my text file,




    , then saved it as Itchy Bollocks.txt
