Double Driver list against drivers and DriverStore
Double Driver list against DriverStore ( and drivers ]

The previous file, ExplorerBefore Double Driver V drivers.xlsm , will be used further, starting in its current form with no resetting of colouring.
The name is ExplorerBefore Double Driver V DriverStore.xlsm , ( but we will also show finally the Double Driver list against driver ]

In the last section, ( Double Driver list against drivers ( drivers against Double Driver ] ) ) , we considered that the drivers was the smaller of the two things being considered. But if we now look at the two worksheets we see that a Double Driver list against DriverStore comparison is possibly more appropriate

What to do..
So we proceed in this last main comparison experiment, in a very similar way to that for the comparison of Device Manager properties against Driver Store. We can use almost the same macro as this previous one: http://www.excelfox.com/forum/showth...ll=1#post12409 The main difference is that we loop with each cell in a selection range in the worksheet Double Drivers instead of as previously Device Manager Properties.
So, the purpose of the macro here, , is
_ to go through all cells in a (usually small) user selection in Double drivers.
_ A random color is generated to use in any matched file in both worksheets
_ If a match is found, we
___ check to see if the cell maybe already coloured, ( indicating that it was already matched to drivers) . In this case the randomly produced color will be replaced with that already there.
___ the cell is underlined so as to give something later to indicate the double match.
_ Whether the cell is coloured or not, for the case of the match is found the cell in Double Driver has its text italicised. ( In Driver Store all cells are italicised just to help relate the matching in place )

The following post show the usual sets of measurements
