Hi ( Firstly, let me say.. - I am English, so my German is not to good )
    Computer is Acer Aspire 4810TZG lap top connected to a Television via extended monitor option… ( http://www.excelfox.com/forum/showth...ll=1#post11167 ) . So I am using two monitors - http://i.imgur.com/WZc3LQJ.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/QMln86E.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/sCMCmQX.jpg ,

Hallo (Erstens, lassen Sie mich sagen ..
    ( http://www.excelfox.com/forum/showth...ll=1#post11167 ) . Also benutze ich zwei Monitore - http://i.imgur.com/WZc3LQJ.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/QMln86E.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/sCMCmQX.jpg ,

This is the story so far.
I wanted to connect via internet to my computer
The cameras and Receiver are all working fine. They have been working fine for many days
    I tried to follow this:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6APBN6fqUKA
    But I got these errors
    http://i.imgur.com/gFIEPFl.jpg
    http://i.imgur.com/OJGMwOc.jpg

So I tried to follow this:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iD8YUYhZ4E
I got no where with that.

I experimented and after many hours suddenly somehow something worked. But I have no idea how. I got this:
    http://i.imgur.com/YxEUoVU.jpg
But then I restarted my computer and I only get this now:
    http://i.imgur.com/9nMYDsi.jpg
!!!!! – see solution for Blank Monitor Screen in next post, Post #2 http://www.excelfox.com/forum/showth...ull=1#post8797

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6APBN6fqUKA
Aber ich habe diese Fehler bekommen
    http://i.imgur.com/gFIEPFl.jpg
    http://i.imgur.com/OJGMwOc.jpg

Also habe ich versucht, dies zu befolgen:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_iD8YUYhZ4E

I had another go with a
Acer Aspire 6530G lap Top ( Operating System Windows 7 )
    and a
Acer Aspire X3200 Computer ( Operating System Vista )

The following steps seem to consistently be successful currently. But they come from trial and error. I can find no detailed or simple to follow instructions. So I am making and sharing my own
The CMS Software disc is small!!
One immediate problem is that a small disc is supplied. It is about 8cm Diameter in size. Most nowadays seem to be about 12cm. If your lucky , your computer might be able to read that. Some of mine could. Some of mine could not.
So I tried to make a copy on a 12cm standard available ( 4.7GB) DVD.
Firstly, I put the supplied 8cm DVR-AN in a computer that was able to read it. I copied it in its entirety to a Folder on the desktop. I assumed it was a simple file, and therefore able to be copied in the simplest way. I am assuming it is not some special sort of instillation disc, but I am not sure…
I removed the 8cm DVR-AN, and in the same disc drive put a new 12cm standard available ( 4.7GB) DVD.
It seems that nobody is quite sure anymore how and what copying/ Burning to a disc is all about.. ( http://www.eileenslounge.com/viewtop...=25735#p200052 ) , and it varies with system and computer, but I double clicked on the DVD disc as showing in the Window explorer , and after a few steps appeared to have some sort of copy of the disc. I expect this will be different every time you try to do it. It is one of those annoying inconstant things designed to keep a lot of computer professionals in a job and off the streets.

    2 Some sort of initialising Burning.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/97EIoyJ.jpg
    3 Did not work.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/g5ysg6a.jpg
On my computer, I have sometimes had better success with any sort of copying to a DVD, when using the “Sending on” option, rather than a simple Save or Copy/Paste option…

7 Burn Maybe Discdrive making noise Almost finished.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/mNMP5no.jpg

At the end of the copying/burning process, the DVD was thrown out. I pushed it back in, ( 8 Put it back in.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/pzpqKAM.jpg ) , to take a look at it. It appears to have similar information and format to the original 8cm DVR-AN

An important content is the .exe file, which is what would typically be run ( usually by double clicking on, or opening somehow ) , to start an instillation process

CMS Software instillation on a computer.
( Using either the supplied small disc, or the DVD copy which I made )
For example, I placed the made DVD in a computer that would not accept the small supplied disc.

16 Put that in another computer and open.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/H2dCIbX.jpg
    17 looks like CMS copy is there.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/XiHqtdz.jpg

Important is to find the .exe file and to double click on it
    18 Looks like all incl exe is there.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/uONucbb.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/XiHqtdz.jpg
Usually then a typical Instillation process will take place. Windows come up, which you should read. Usually you will simply need to click OK or Continue or similar, and after the Instillation is complete, a typical feature will be a short cut Icon in your desktop, which is used to double click on to start the program running.

    Samstag, 1. Juni 2019
Ich hatte einen anderen Versuch mit einem
Acer Aspire 6530G Laptop (Betriebssystem Windows 7)
    und ein
Acer Aspire X3200 Computer (Betriebssystem Vista)

    2 Some sort of initialising Burning.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/97EIoyJ.jpg
    3 Did not work.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/g5ysg6a.jpg
    3 RightClick SendOn Disdrive.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/G66IQcl.jpg

7 Burn Maybe Discdrive making noise Almost finished.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/mNMP5no.jpg

    15 Put that in another computer.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/XW0FEH5.jpg
16 Put that in another computer and open.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/H2dCIbX.jpg
    17 looks like CMS copy is there.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/XiHqtdz.jpg

    18 Looks like all incl exe is there.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/uONucbb.jpg , http://i.imgur.com/XiHqtdz.jpg

    ”Zone IP Device way”

This came from experimenting. Initially it seems to work fairly consistently. But I will likely report back as time goes on.

I disconnect the LAN RJ45 Internet connection.
I put in the German Telekom / Congstar USB Internet “Dongle” , and connect to internet

Try 2 is also a success.
On Try 2, I am using a USB Dongle to connect my computer to the internet. The LAN RJ45 Internet connection to which the Sannce 1080N receiver is connected is not at this time connected to the computer. So I have no direct contact to the computer and the Receiver. So this suggests that I am remotely accessing my cameras through the internet.
I will do some further tests when I am away from home using, for example, using remote WLAN connections to the internet.

    I bought another one, 8 cameras (and a 4Tb hard drive that never came initially ). Sannce2kaufMitversicherung.JPG : https://imgur.com/kR36rGd http://i.imgur.com/kR36rGd.jpg
For the sake of clarity, the previous one will be referred to as Sannce1, and the new / second one as Sannce2. If it is unclear what one I am referring to then it is most likely the first, since initially I had no plan of buying a second so had no distinguishing name for it. From now on I stick a label on either with the corresponding Sannce1 or Sannce2 written on it.

This time the disc supplied was a normal size. it had a number on it: 3000314206
    There is on it
Manual : Two electronic manuals, very similar, which are both similar to the paper one which came with the delivery , and a quick operation guide similar to the paper one which came with the delivery.
    Player
    Search Tool
    Mobile App
    Desktop App for mac
    Desktop App for Windows

The stuff seems to be from Sept 2019 – 2020, so at least a few months after I did anything with Sannce1
I can’t find any CMS stuff on it. Looks like all new software. The manuals have some similar looking sections, but are basically different for Sannc1 and Sannc2

    Power up
It powers up differently to the last one, ( Sannce1)
First you see an Activate Device screen, most white, blue ribbon along the top,
    Activate Device

    Username -- left at admin
Password -- tried to leave it empty, but it wouldn’t allow it, so gave it Sannce.!* using mouse on a Handy type keyboard which appeared after clicking with mouse in entry bar

Camera Activation Password -- I left checked at Use Device Password as default
Email to Reset Password -- left checked at Enable and

    Then hit bottom right Activate

On the next screen I right clicked to skip setting an unlock pattern

    Next screen was time settings

    Next screen was Network
    These were the initial settings
    DHCP – checked
    IPv4 Address – 192.168.2.104
    IPv4 Subnet Mask – 255.255.255.0
    IPv4 Default Gateway – 192.168.2.1
    Obtain DNS Automatically -- checked
    Preferred DNS Server -- 192.168.2.1
Alternate DNS Server – was blank
(I left checked DHCP and Obtain DNS Automatically, because the manual suggested it )
( Out of interest, I took the LAN cable out of the receiver and put it into my Vista4810TZG, got internet to work on it, and then did an ipconfig /all in the command window. Here are some of the results

The next screen was the handy square things, so I ignored it and went straight to next.

I did not understand the next two screens so I just hit Next and Finish, and the camera(s) came up on the screen working

The connector to connect to the hard drive was missing. Cutting a long painful story short, it took about 3 months for Sannce to finally find a correct cable. It eventually came from England after two attempts to supply via their usual after sale support failed.
This older one has the larger connector:
    Old Receiver: http://i.imgur.com/V2KMVbs.jpg http://i.imgur.com/3AFHbdF.jpg http://i.imgur.com/1LJj1fq.jpg

Here is the new Receiver with smaller connector
    New Receiver: http://i.imgur.com/TFRI3fm.jpg http://i.imgur.com/usT44OS.jpg

There appears to be no real intelligence behind their support.
Sannce Support appears to have no understanding of any requests made
It appears that the support tries to pick out key words in a request, and based on those words pre prepared answers are issued.
This makes the support insanely inefficient and close to useless.
It appears that there are no people at support who either can communicate in English or understand anything about the Sannce DVR product.
A small problem that could be solved in a few minutes by a competent support will require by Sannce Support a time between many days to infinite time because of the issues that I have stated.

Getting started on a pc with Sannce2 ( it has Guarding Vision Software )

Getting started on a pc with Sannce2 ( it has Guarding Vision Software )

The Guarding Vision manual is massive, difficult to read and totally useless for getting started on a pc. It appears that everyone scans a the square of black squares QR code, and then everything else falls into space with a few wipes of the thumb. I expect the manual is only good for later reference to the massive amount of feature that appear to be available.
What comes with such a receiver in terms of manuals, instructions, hard copy of software a, quick start guides, etc., seems to be a bit poorly organised. You will likely get the software and instructions relevant for your model, but whether they are up to date, or any use at all, is a bit hit and miss.
It is likely that your best bet is to briefly look through all that is supplied then try to find some on line info, such as the following.
    Following this:
    https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/...arding-Vision-
Working software at time of writing:
    Share ‘Guarding-Vision.exe’ : https://app.box.com/s/fi3eumo8m6sq8tztlxgheftuxqtq5f5b

( Later I got the impression , that contacting support for my receiver model usually results in some blind reference to this article. The article is incomplete, but is probably your best bet. )
The thing to do with a new receiver is to look on the internet, possibly at Sannce support articles , get the latest software downloaded and take it from there
    Download / Install Guarding Vision
The download and install was very typical

Note: Get the internet working or don’t bother to go further
Sannce receivers are very unreliable. ( !!!! Their support is close to useless. Some of their downloads are corrupt and have viruses in them )
The receivers usually will work reliably after power up to display the cameras on a television or monitor screen , but their internet function can stop working.
Throughout the following process I had a working Rj45 LAN Ethernet-Network cable connected , and on the DVR the furthest right green light flickers indicating a successful internet source.
If you have a working connection to a monitor, then on power up their will likely be some indication of a successful connection to the internet.
If you can’t get this apparent stable internet connection, don’t bother to go further.

    Download software
The download and install was very typical

The basic viewing of cameras on a pc, LAN access.

There may be ways to get the lap top up and running away from home initially. However the possible problems are so immense, and quality and , in particular competence , of Sannce support so extremely low, that one should best start with every pc to which its wanted to be used away from home , initially having at home on the same router as the DVR, with a working internet. If this situation is achieved at home , then the lower half of the Guarding Vision Software should be showing an “Online Davice (1)” in the main
    Device Management
    window

Major failing in Sannce support understanding
This post is approximately following Step 2a: LAN Access https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/...arding-Vision-
After over a month of trying to communicate with Sannce support, I have come to the conclusion that
_ they do not know the difference between a pc and a mobile phone
    and
_ they barely understand any English
    and
_ have no technical understanding of the DVR product or its use
    and
_ both they, and most of their articles, assume that you already have a full working remote set up on your mobile phone
    and
_ most likely the Sannce support is done by call centre that try to make use standard replies.
The problems with article first occur at the attempt at true remote “P2P” access, Step 2b: P2P Access
That will be done in the next post
This post is approximately the successful following of Step 2a: LAN Access https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/...arding-Vision-

Adding a found Online device to the guarding vision Client Software
    .
We remain in the lower OnLine Device(1) window. ( Note the (1) is indicating our found router )
From this bottom window we Add to Client
    AddToClient.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/2Izod9M.jpg
( Note for later comparison: At this point you arte usually by default showing Device ( which causes, amongst other things, the + Add to Client
    NoteOnDeviceusuallyByDefault.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/Id083Rj.jpg
    )
I had to fill in details:
    add nickname,
    username as admin , and
the password ( which must be the one I added on first DVR power up, Sannce.!* ) and
check Export to Group**, ( **it was by default already checked )
    Fill in details then Add.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/ZyNdATX.jpg
Although I am certain I used the correct password,
    PasswordUsedToLogIntoSystemOnATV Monitor.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/KX9uSXn.jpg
It did not accept the password or username http://i.imgur.com/oyUrt0r.jpg http://i.imgur.com/0XfzGiv.jpg

DVR ( First Monitor switch on ) Password Reset
The entire passwords area is full of bugs and problems. As always, Sannce support are close to useless.
After a month I finally got the problem solved. Here are notes of the various attempts and contact with Sannce support and the useless automatic method for password reset indicated on the DVR Monitor
    Share ‘Sannce2PasswordResetCatastrohy.doc’ : https://app.box.com/s/85khysah0rhdpdfy9wan7ne7ubj92nn2

    The shortened story:
The automated Email Password recovery method indicated on the DVR Monitor does not appear to work and on one at Sannce support appears to understand anything about it: It is probably not on their list of key words used to generate a pre prepared response , so you are biting on stone trying to talk to them about it.
They have a method which relies on a instillation of a “SADP” software, but they have difficulty in supplying that software.
This latter method finally worked, but mostly I organised it myself

Finally I reset the username and password to what it already was
    admin
    Sannce.!*

    and it was accepted.
Here is the SADP software currently working at the time of writing this:
    zip

    Share ‘SADPTool.exe’ : https://app.box.com/s/0n78g9bh72ygtwu03acc6aothfeybwf0

Here are the instructions that are approximately correct:
    https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/...ssword-of-DVR-

After sorting out the password issue, the “LAN access” is usually working, and clicking on
    View and / or
    Main View

Will get some explorer Folder arrangement and other various viewing options show to the left, along with actual live pictures in the main window
    Go to View Then Main View.JPG : https://imgur.com/KoNcY61 : https://imgur.com/khGGZL4

Note in my last screen shots the username for Guarding Vision showing,
    DocAElstein __ (Password : Gaudy.!* RegisterAdministrator2.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/WQUNqyB.jpg )

( On running by clicking the Icon on my laptop, I am not normally asked for this password

    Sannce2 P2P Cloud way

At this point, for pc use the articles from Sannce and their support become incomplete and misleading , and communicating effectively with them is almost impossible.
Its possible that if you have an already working Mobile / Smart phone, you may be able to box through with some support from Sannce. Without this, I think it would be almost impossible.
    Give up with Sannce support
    https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/requests/1186519
    https://support.sannce.com/hc/en-us/requests/1188027

    My Notes and Experiments
The following notes which lead to a successful remote P2P Cloud way came mostly from a lot of experiments.

    SannkeHome account Spaghetti mess
The following steps are very vague. No one knows them for sure, least of all anyone at Sannce. By lots of experimenting in the general areas discussed in this section, some pop ups suddenly appeared asking me to set up an account which resulted in me having following information

Annke Vision Guarding Vision Cloud P2P account user name and password https://imgur.com/4vBxnla http://i.imgur.com/4vBxnla.jpg

    Account registration security code:

    Did not work
    Nor did the next

Eventually I found that the problem was Doc.AElstein , so tried DocAElstein
Annke Vision Guarding Vision Cloud P2P account user name and password
    user name DocAElstein

All the above was a hideous spaghetti of failed attempts, but finally, it resulted at some point in this large window popping up , and my account was accepted. I don’t remember where and when the pop up came. It probably would not be consistent and would not always work in exactly the same way again anyway..

Its possible that the first time of accessing something like Sannce Home somewhere , ( for example via the DVR monitor settings ) , lead to me registering DocAElstein , Sannce2CloudWay and in turn this may be somewhere held as docaelstein , Sannce2CloudWay

Verification code / + Add to Account
After the spaghetti above, you are, if you are lucky logged in to a AnnkeHome account. This appears to happen somehow very easily / automatically when you attempt to do anything with a mobile phone. Without a mobile phone, I have done a wonder in getting myself logged in…

At this point , you could try selecting a couple of things in Device Management, namely
Add New Device Type --- OK : https://imgur.com/PC6sJvQ
    Cloud P2P Device : http://i.imgur.com/usy3PEu.jpg
This may or may not wake something up or do something that might make the next steps work. Who knows. Certainly no one at Sannce. In any case, most likely you will be at this point, with a Cloud P2P Account, but nothing in it

But note, in comparison with the Device / LAN access situation we now have a + Add to Account instead of the previous + Add to Client

    Verification Code
The next steps are close to a working method, which I have discovered and were totally unknown previously. I think nobody other than me knows them.
The next step is to hit under
    __ Device Management
    __ Cloud P2P Device ( at the left )
__ Click on the found Online Device (1) ribbon : Click on the found Online Device (1) ribbon.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/w2FaHbB.jpg
    __+ Add to Account , …_
_... but before this will take us further, we need a verification code. We have to make one. I made Sannce2
The making of a verification code is done on the DVR Monitor

    1Configuration 2Network 3SannceHome Verification Code Sannce2.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/dO26z6J.jpg

So we are back at + Add to Account
    What is the verification Code.JPG : http://i.imgur.com/jVBUsJF.jpg
Assuming you are lucky , and the verification code is accepted, then you are theoretically finished.

In the Main View you should now see a second folder, and cameras can be viewed as in the LAN way
The second folder seems to have the lower case version of the mysteriously obtained annke Home / Sannce Home account ( – the one that magically appears easily when you have a mobile phone, and which no person in the universe other than me has ever obtained without a mobile phone.)

The above views, that is to say the remote viewing did not work at all for about a month. A month worth of support contact got no where at all. Suddenly it worked one day. Since then it works occasionally, about once a month

There is something very quirky going on, as sometime both LAN and P2P appear to work when it seems as though they are not working remote, and visa versa, both appear to be working on a USN dongle internet stick.

Possibly one defaults to the other somehow, or even Sannce themselves are doing something very strange remotely.

God knows. The whole exercise is a bloody frustrating mess.

Don’t ever buy any Sannce or Annke DVR
