    Some conclusions to be added to later
    Device Manager Property list against drivers
    Almost all of the matched files are .sys type and a few are matched only if we match a .sys from Device Manager Property to a .sys.mui file in drivers


    As in previous comparison examples , a macro is used to once again count the occurrences of file types in Device Manager , but also to include in ( ) by the side the number of those files that are also present in drivers.
    We can re use the macro already used for this worksheet, since it looks just at this worksheet – the count of the files that also appear in drivers worksheet comes from detecting a colloured text in the file cell

    Device Manager Property list against DriverStore
    From Device Manager Properties we have 120 files.

    It is a reasonable expectation that any matching files from that are found in Device Manager Property in DriverStore may not be those matched in drivers. So initially we will continue using the file from the previous experiments without talking out the text color, add the DriverStore worksheet, and then take it from there

    to make the DriverStore worksheet, it is clear from the large amount of diverse things that some visual inspection is needed to determine how any macro can usefully analyse what we have.

    Some initial observations:
    Any thing with two underscores in it _ _ appears to be a Folder. This could be used to determine if the thing is a folder. We could also, as ever check, for an entry in column B to determine if we have a folder. Some files have a single underscore.
    We have a lot of folders, so it may be safer to use the entry in the column B to determine if folder is present . ( We could also add an extra condition to check that the first three characters are of the "G:" form )

    3 funny things
    Microsoft.Bluetooth.Legacy.LEEnumerator.sys

    The initial VBA arrays macro , although the largest we are likely to use will never the less be made even larger to include the B column, but while I am at it I will top left origin it to the first cell, to keep the “rows” and “columns” in liner with the actual spreadsheet, to help simplify further work.
    There are also some redundant parts , such as a section that caught the Folders in he previous use of this macro based on no . in the string
    It is not so efficient, but who cares.. , it might help in even further use.

    Worksheets comparison
    Initially our Device manager worksheet still has/ have the coloured text for those files appearing in drivers
    I will use colours again for matching. To help distinguish between the drivers and DriverStore , I have italicised the entire DriverStore worksheet, Ialicised DriverStore.JPG : https://imgur.com/l5aAsnD
    So Matches to the DriverStore from device Manager will be both coloured and italicised. Should any cells already be colure3d in device manager, then I will underline them

    ( I set the macro recorder running and did the italicising and underlining of a cell to get some of the syntax for this:

    The important modification to the matched file text colouring macro is this, which checks to see if the file text already coloured is in the Device Manager Properties list. If that is the case, then that colour is used in the DriverStore worksheet, and , importantly the text is underlined
