Excel gaps and alphabetization

Hi Everyone,

I'm having a problem with some excel files and could really appreciate some input. I have noticed that some of the files have numbers missing, which shows up as a jump in numbers. For example from number 3 the next number will be 6, therefore missing 4 & 5 and the jump is displayed by two lines indicating that something is not there.
My second issue is with the alphabetical order, many entries will follow the sequence but in between you'll have the odd entries that don't.
Any ideas on how to resolve these?

Difficult to analyze the issue without seeing your spreadsheet. Tough to visualize what you have. Suggest you upload your spreadsheet with a detailed explanation of what you are attempting and what is not happening that you expect.
