A couple of reasons for this:
I recently did some interesting solutions in some other help forums using these. I would like to reference excelfox for some common bits that I will post in some “blog posts”

I had some contact with a guy but don’t want to encourage him anymore until I can “offer him” a sub forum, maybe

The basic viewing of cameras on a pc, LAN access.

There may be ways to get the lap top up and running away from home initially. However the possible problems are so immense, and quality and , in particular competence , of Sannce support so extremely low, that one should best start with every pc to which its wanted to be used away from home , initially having at home on the same router as the DVR, with a working internet. If this situation is achieved at home , then the lower half of the Guarding Vision Software should be showing an “Online Davice (1)” in the main

Major failing in Sannce support understanding

After over a month of trying to communicate with Sannce support, I have come to the conclusion that
_ they do not know the difference between a pc and a mobile phone
and
_ they barely understand any English
and
_ have no technical understanding of the DVR product or its use
and
_ both they, and most of their articles, assume that you already have a full working remote set up on your mobile phone
and
_ most likely the Sannce support is done by call centre that try to make use standard replies.
The problems with article first occur at the attempt at true remote “P2P” access, Step 2b: P2P Access

Adding a found Online device to the guarding vision Client Software

We remain in the lower OnLine Device(1) window. ( Note the (1) is indicating our found router )

I had to fill in details:
add nickname,
username as admin , and
the password ( which must be the one I added on first DVR power up, Sannce.!* ) and
check Export to Group**, ( **it was by default already checked )

DVR ( First Monitor switch on ) Password Reset
The entire passwords area is full of bugs and problems. As always, Sannce support are close to useless.
After a month I finally got the problem solved. Here are notes of the various attempts and contact with Sannce support and the useless automatic method for password reset indicated on the DVR Monitor

The shortened story:
The automated Email Password recovery method indicated on the DVR Monitor does not appear to work and on one at Sannce support appears to understand anything about it: It is probably not on their list of key words used to generate a pre prepared response , so you are biting on stone trying to talk to them about it.
They have a method which relies on a instillation of a “SADP” software, but they have difficulty in supplying that software.
This latter method finally worked, but mostly I organised it myself

Finally I reset the username and password to what it already was

and it was accepted.

Sannce2 P2P Cloud way

At this point, for pc use the articles from Sannce and their support become incomplete and misleading , and communicating effectively with them is almost impossible.
Its possible that if you have an already working Mobile / Smart phone, you may be able to box through with some support from Sannce. Without this, I think it would be almost impossible.

The following steps are very vague. No one knows them for sure, least of all anyone at Sannce. By lots of experimenting in the general areas discussed in this section, some pop ups suddenly appeared asking me to set up an account which resulted in me having following information

All the above was a hideous spaghetti of failed attempts, but finally, it resulted at some point in this large window popping up , and my account was accepted. I don’t remember where and when the pop up came. It probably would not be consistent and would not always work in exactly the same way again anyway..

Its possible that the first time of accessing something like Sannce Home somewhere , ( for example via the DVR monitor settings ) , lead to me registering DocAElstein , Sannce2CloudWay and in turn this may be somewhere held as docaelstein , Sannce2CloudWay



Verification code / + Add to Account
After the spaghetti above, you are, if you are lucky logged in to a AnnkeHome account. This appears to happen somehow very easily / automatically when you attempt to do anything with a mobile phone. Without a mobile phone, I have done a wonder in getting myself logged in…

At this point , you could try selecting a couple of things in Device Management, namely

This may or may not wake something up or do something that might make the next steps work. Who knows. Certainly no one at Sannce. In any case, most likely you will be at this point, with a Cloud P2P Account, but nothing in it

Assuming you are lucky , and the verification code is accepted, then you are theoretically finished.

In the Main View you should now see a second folder, and cameras can be viewed as in the LAN way
The second folder seems to have the lower case version of the mysteriously obtained annke Home / Sannce Home account ( – the one that magically appears easily when you have a mobile phone, and which no person in the universe other than me has ever obtained without a mobile phone.)

The above views, that is to say the remote viewing did not work at all for about a month. A month worth of support contact got no where at all. Suddenly it worked one day. Since then it works occasionally, about once a month

There is something very quirky going on, as sometime both LAN and P2P appear to work when it seems as though they are not working remote, and visa versa, both appear to be working on a USN dongle internet stick.

Possibly one defaults to the other somehow, or even Sannce themselves are doing something very strange remotely.

God knows. The whole exercise is a bloody frustrating mess.
