Macro Running Very Slow When Applying Data Validation In Cells

Hi,

I applied data validation to the cells in the macro using the excel options available. Applied data validation to all cells in a row of each column. Even the blank cells.

Now when i run the macro, it is running very slow. Any reasons for this.

Please advise how i can avoid this.

Will not be able to comment unless you provide more information as to what the macro is, and what the data is etc. Posting a trimmed down version of the file with an exact representation of the scenario might help.
