Displaying dates in reports as MM/DD

I have a simple database with a membership list that has birth dates and anniversary dates entered as MM/DD/YYYY, but in the report I want them to display as MM/DD. (Some of our members don't want their ages told )

I have searched for the last couple of days, and can find nothing.

(Actually, I'm not quite sure what phrase I'm supposed to be searching for.)
