Adding function without messing up original code

Hi I have attached a copy spread sheet.
This has been working great but i have been asked to add some items and i dont want to screw up the working functions.
I now want to add a columns so the actual costs of a first and second service can be added to the contracts and used contracts sheets,
this information allong with cutomer,reg,start date needs to be copied over into a new report sheet which will have the budgets costs in so that
a report can be sent showing profit/loss.

If i just add columns will this effect the auto archive coding?
Could the data be copied over to the new sheet using the original code on start up? (so customer etc copied then as cost are put in these would be added
to the respective rows on each start up.

i was going to add them after 6 but any where will do

the codeing do ther following

there is an auto archive so that once the contract has ended the complete row is transfered into the archive sheet and then if not re activated after a set time the same data is deleted from the archice file so as not to let the data clog up with out of date information.
there is also coding checking for duplicated reg numbers the looks in contract , used sales and the archive sheets so that duplications dont occur.

i was hoping to have the data mentioned in this nlink to be copied into a report sheet at start up when the macro runs to check validation dates and then when an invoice comes in and we add a cost into the 1st service cell this would be added to this copied data

Hi

I have attached a small wb to explain what i am trying to do

i need columns a,b,e,f,g,h to the a report sheet (sheet2) when populated and then updated when any of these cells are changed
so that when a cost for the first service is entered this would update the row in the record sheet to reflect costs.

The original wb has macros that are started each time the file is opened the auto archives old date according to date

The data copied should by unique to reg number so duplications copying does not occur ( the original macros should stop duplication anyway)

The auto cleanse macro will eventually delete a row when the contract expires but the data in the report should stay

Hi Again

I have attached a small wb with a formula that mirrors certain data entered on sheet one into sheet 2, now this works well except
i could do with the data to get mirrored to the next available blank row in sheet two as the auto delete function in the original wb
would leave blank rows.
And not all the old data already in my files will have these costings entered in straight away.
Is there away to have this happen in vb

also is there away to export all expired rows in sheet two to a perminent archive sheet to hold these records

The data in sheet 2 will get auto deleted when the contract expires so will leave blank rows dotted around
