get conditional formatting color of a cell

VBA: Need to get color of cell with conditional formatting. Tried post by Rick Rothstein in the forum but it didn't work. I referred to :

got that by myself.... its the activecell.displayformat.interior.color

this works for 2010 only...can anybody help me with this in 2007??
